Frequently asked questions
Does the count include the start and end dates?
By default the difference counts the nights between the dates, so Monday to Wednesday is 2 days. Tick Include the end date to count both days (3 days), which is how holidays and rentals are often counted.
How are business days calculated?
Business days are Monday to Friday between the two dates. Public holidays vary by country and are not excluded.
How are months counted when they have different lengths?
Whole calendar months are counted first, then remaining days, so 15 January to 15 March is exactly 2 months, and 31 January to 1 March is 1 month and 1 day (31 January plus one month lands on 28 February).
Can I find a date a certain number of days from today?
