Frequently asked questions

Does cropping reduce the image quality?

No. The crop is cut from the original full-resolution image, not from the preview, so the pixels you keep are untouched. Choose PNG output for a lossless result.

How do I crop to a square or 16:9?

Click one of the aspect presets (1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 3:2, 9:16). The selection box then keeps that ratio while you move or resize it.

Can I enter exact crop dimensions?

Yes. Type X, Y, width and height in pixels in the fields under the preview; the selection box updates instantly.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser. The image never leaves your device.
