Which favicon sizes do I need?
A favicon.ico containing 16, 32 and 48 px covers browsers and Windows. Add a 180×180 Apple touch icon for iPhones and 192 and 512 px PNGs for Android and installable web apps. The ZIP includes all of them.
Where do I put the files?
Upload them to the root of your website so favicon.ico is reachable at yoursite.com/favicon.ico, then paste the provided link tags inside the head of your pages.
Why does my favicon not update in the browser?
Browsers cache favicons aggressively. Hard-refresh the page, clear the cache, or add a version query such as favicon.ico?v=2 to see the change.
Is my logo uploaded?
No. The icons are generated in your browser and your image never leaves your device.
