Frequently asked questions
How many frames can I use?
There is no fixed limit, but file size grows quickly. For a small GIF use fewer frames, a smaller width and a longer delay between frames.
Why do my GIF colors look slightly different?
GIF supports only 256 colors per frame, so photos are reduced. Illustrations and screenshots with flat colors look nearly identical; photos can show slight banding.
How do I change the speed?
Adjust Frame delay. A smaller delay in milliseconds plays faster; 100 ms is 10 frames per second and 500 ms is 2 frames per second.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The GIF is encoded in your browser and your images never leave your device.
