Frequently asked questions
How do I make a photo black and white?
Tap the B&W preset, or drag Grayscale to 100%. For a dramatic look use Noir, which adds contrast and darkens slightly.
What is the difference between brightness and contrast?
Brightness makes everything lighter or darker. Contrast changes the gap between lights and darks: more contrast makes shadows deeper and highlights brighter.
Will filters reduce image quality?
Filters change pixel colors but not the resolution. Export as PNG for lossless output, or JPG for smaller files.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The filters run on a canvas in your browser and your photo never leaves your device.
