Frequently asked questions
Are the extracted images the same quality as in the PDF?
Yes. JPEG images are extracted exactly as stored, so no quality is lost. Other image types are decoded to lossless PNG at their original pixel size.
Why did I get no images?
The PDF may contain only text and vector graphics, or each page may be a scanned image in an unsupported format. For scans, use PDF to Image to turn whole pages into pictures.
Does it extract text or vector drawings?
No. It extracts embedded raster pictures only. Use PDF to Text for text, or PDF to Image to capture whole pages including vector art.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Images are extracted in your browser and never leave your device.
